Teaching School
The Salford Alliance of Learning Schools (S.A.L.S.), through lead school Moorside Community Primary School and in conjunction with The University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University, are excited to have the opportunity to deliver the ‘School Direct (SD) Programme’. School Direct enables graduates to develop close links with local schools as well as receiving academic and University support whilst training to teach.
S.A.L.S. is a new, exciting and diverse coalition, united by the belief that we can make a difference.
We are one of the partner schools within the alliance which is led by Moorside Community Primary school. The partner schools are;
- Moorside Community Primary
- St Philip's CE
- Brentnall
- St Luke's CE
- Alder Brook PRU
- River View
- Ravensfield
- The Deans
- Light Oaks Junior School
- St Andrews (Eccles)
Our alliance covers a broad demographic within the City of Salford, and encapsulates the diverse educational needs, challenges and rewards that all teachers can expect to be presented with.
This is what we believe makes us unique, and is what provides you with the very best possible start to your teaching journey. For more information, please visit the S.A.L.S. page by clicking on the link on the left hand side of this page.
