Year 4 and 5 go to Cumbria
On the 16th January 2019, Year 4 and 5 ventured off to Cumbria for a three day residential at Castle Head Activity Centre.
During the trip, the children had the opportunity to go climbing, canoeing, low ropes, bush craft and many more amazing challenges for them to complete. The trip was a brilliant success. All of the children that went achieved so much in such a short space of time. Their behaviour was impeccable and we were reminded of this on a daily basis by staff that worked directly with us and from the staff that helped maintain the centre.
It was amazing to see such resilient and hardworking children within an environment that's slightly unfamiliar.
Thanks go out to the staff who went along to support the children - Mr Davies, Miss Wright and Mr Evans.
It really is such a privilege for us all to have the chance to see first-hand just how well your children rise to challenges that are often out of their comfort zone!
